Suffering with writer’s block and driven mad by an unrequited obsession with the Prima Donna at the theatre he calls home, Hoffmann turns to the green fairy, his true “muse” for inspiration and solace. As he drinks, we are taken on a journey through his theatrical past, the plays he has written and the places where his stories were set, now abandoned in an old set store in the bowels of the theatre.
