Hand cut circles of scrap metal, patterned with rusting watermarks, were attached to a stem and planted in clusters around a forgotten and neglected area in Cape Town's city centre. They gently bounced in the breeze and reflected sunlight, emanating light and life. Preserving the site’s innate character, abandoned materials were chosen to rejuvenate the deserted and deteriorating space.
