Three materials, three scenographers, two weeks and a video camera. The final film is an assemblage of our experimental and performative material. 'The Dance of the Furies' from Gluck's opera Orpheus ed Eurydice was the project's initial inspiration.
It explores the force, or charge, between material properties and human bodies and how this interaction shifts between contrasting tones. The film edit aims to expose and narrate parts of the process usually left "off frame" or unheard, merging the unintentional with the intentional.
